Baptiste Vurlod
Born in Neuchâtel in 1999, Baptiste Vurlod decided early on that he was destined for a life as an artist. He began acting at the age of eight and honed his skills in the heat of improvisation for several years. He started writing in his teens and became an assistant director in his secondary-school troupe. After pre-professional training at the TPR (La Chaux-de-Fonds), he studied physical theatre at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri (Verscio), graduating in 2022. He then founded the Collectif Ü with his friend Agathe Portner, and in the summer of 2023 they performed their street show Les Claudes at numerous festivals. Now living between Lausanne and La Chaux-de-Fonds, Baptiste spends his days dreaming about the future, sometimes worrying about it, often both at once. He has been a member of the Markus Zohner Arts Company since 2023.
